Troop 1 attempts to plan an event at least once a week (other than the weekly Troop meeting every Wed. night). We plan a major trip about once a month whether it is backpacking, car camping or just a quick overnight mountain biking trip. In addition, the TROOP also arranges and takes part in assorted community service activities. For quick reference to the latest information and location of where we will be going, please refer to our activities link located and below.

TROOP 1 typically has 35 to 40 Scout members. Most of the Scouts who remain active members of the TROOP achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Some of these Scouts remain as Adult Leaders after their 18th birthday while others go on to college but remain active in Scouting.
TROOP
1 meets at the First United Methodist Church each Wednesday evening
at 7:30 PM during the regular school year.
Scouts visiting the Portland area are welcome to join us for our meetings.
